Why should John Brown be the most "Famous American"

I'm sure that everyone of you know who George Washington is! Although, most of you have never even heard the name John Brown. Well, that needs to end now! You may be wonder why John brown? John Brown stood for anti-slavery. He worked on the underground railroad, played a part in many protest, and even violent acts to end slavery. He was a true Abolitionist. He wanted so hard to end slavery that he risked his own life. Brown knew that slavery was wrong and nothing was going to stand in his way to achieve what was right. Since, Brown believed god told him to end slavery that was exactly what he was going to do because he was a very religious man.
